The Farrish Law Firm, L.P.A., Cincinnati Superhero Scholarship
Please read these instructions carefully. Scholarship applications that are incomplete or otherwise do not follow instructions will not be considered.
Who Is Eligible?
Any senior in high school or college student in the Greater Cincinnati area is eligible to apply for this scholarship. The student must be enrolled in a two-year to five-year institution for the upcoming semester.
A minimum GPA is not required.
How to Apply (2 Options):
Option 1
- Create a short video telling us about your superhero; someone who has influenced your education, career, or goals. Also, describe what your dreams and goals are, and how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
The video can be serious, funny, inspiring—whatever you want! Creativity is encouraged. The video must be 30-120 seconds in length. You don’t need to be a professional videographer. Film it with whatever resources you have!
- Do not utilize media that which you do not own in the creation of this video. Avoid copyright infringement. Applicants that create their videos and disobey copyright restrictions will not be considered.
- Upload the video to YouTube.
The video must use the title and description format below.
Title: The Farrish Law Firm, L.P.A. Cincinnati Superhero Scholarship – [YOUR NAME]
Description: //kellyfarrishlaw.com/scholarship [YOUR SUMMARY OF VIDEO CONTENT] This video is an application for The Farrish Law Firm, L.P.A. Cincinnati Superhero Scholarship. This $1000 scholarship, offered by The Farrish Law Firm, L.P.A. will be given to one high school or college student.

- Submit your application at //kellyfarrishlaw.com/scholarship/apply. Your application must include a link to your video and a short essay expanding on the content of your video. The essay must be less than 500 words.
Option 2
- Write an essay telling us about your superhero; someone who has influenced your education, career, or goals. Also, describe what your dreams and goals are, and how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
- Submit your essay and full application at //kellyfarrishlaw.com/scholarship/apply. Your essay must be between 1,500 – 2,500 words.
When Is the Deadline?
All applications must be submitted by December 30, 2016.
How Is the Winner Chosen?
The winner will be selected based on the completeness of his or her application, and the content and creativity of his or her video. The winner must follow Instructions and comply with Terms and Conditions.
There will only be one scholarship winner.

When Is the Winner Announced?
The winner will be announced on or before January 30, 2017. He or she will be contacted by email. A check made out to the institution in which he or she is enrolled will be sent to the address provided in the scholarship application no later than 30 days after the announcement.
Important note: The scholarship award will be paid via check directly to the institution in which the winning student is enrolled. The winner will be required to provide all information regarding his or her enrollment that is necessary to administer the scholarship funds, including (but not limited to) the name of the institution and his or her student ID number. If the winner decides to attend a school other than the one provided, it is his or her responsibility to notify GNGF (513-444-2016) so that a revised check may be sent.
