Michaela Marie Stagnaro

Michaela StagnaroThere are some people that are just born to be attorneys—and Michaela Stagnaro’s father certainly thought she was one of them. Her father always said that she had a very diplomatic way of handling things and always told her she would make a good lawyer. Well, his confident advice certainly stuck with her.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Miami University with a major in Political Science, she went on to the University of Cincinnati to pursue her Juris Doctorate. Michaela graduated from the law school at the University of Cincinnati in 1992 and has been helping people throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky ever since.

It’s because she sincerely enjoys helping people, Michaela says. That’s why she continues to practice law. When people come to her, they are going through some of the most difficult parts of their lives. She has the experience and the capability to make a difference during this crucial time; that means the world to her.

“I’m a hard worker and I’m passionate about what I do. I truly care about my clients and want the best for them.”

Michaela currently practices juvenile relations, domestic relations, appeal, and workers’ compensation cases. Through all of her work, Michaela most values meeting people. Whether they’re clients, judges, or other lawyers, she sincerely enjoys meeting new people and talking with them, whether it’s about the most recent Bengal’s loss or a crucial case.

Also, she loves finding creative solutions to her client’s problems. Especially in family law, she enjoys facilitating negotiation amongst family members and positively leading them toward their new family dynamic through collaborative practice. When it comes to her work in criminal appeals, she is excited by the opportunity to make a new law.

Michaela’s passion for the law is undeniable, but ultimately, Michaela is passionate about her children and her family. She has two amazing children. Her family is the driving force behind everything she does. In her spare time, Michaela is a mock trial coach for a local high school. She cheers for the Reds, the Bengals, and honestly any soccer team–she loves the game, especially during World Cup season. On celebratory evenings, Michaela and her family head out to Montgomery Inn, but she always has a craving for Mexican food; Nada is one of her all time favorite places to get it. Of course, Chipotle will certainly always fit the bill. She’ll read anything by Nora Roberts and can get hooked by almost any superhero television show or movie.
