Kelly Farrish

Learn About Managing Partner, Kelly Farrish

Kelly FarrishKelly Farrish always knew he wanted to be an attorney, but he the path he took to get there isn’t like most. He served five years in the United States Air Force and did two voluntary years in South Vietnam. When he returned to Cincinnati, he worked the midnight shift as a technician at Cincinnati Bell, all the while attending college full time year round for three years. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati. Upon promotion to the marketing department, Kelly then continued to work full time at Cincinnati Bell while attending Chase Law School year round at night for four years.

He’s now practiced DUI law for 36 years. He is also a frequent speaker on DUI for the Cincinnati Bar Association and the annual statewide Ohio State Bar Association DUI Seminar. Not only that, but he has been a speaker at many DUI seminars and speaks to private groups and organizations upon request. He also taught at the University of Cincinnati in the undergraduate program for about 10 years.

If you asked Kelly Farrish what his favorite part of being an attorney is, he’d tell you that it is really being able to help people who have run into difficulties. Kelly also thoroughly enjoys being in the courtroom and fighting for an individual’s rights in court. Ultimately, he wants to substantially reduce the initial stress that his clients are under and provide assistance that has long-term benefits, and sometimes even lifetime benefits.

One of Kelly’s proudest moments was serving as the general contractor through the total renovation of 810 Sycamore Street, a building that provides office sharing space for 110 attorneys. Kelly served as the general contractor; he designed it, furnished the building, and now manages it.

When Kelly’s not in the office or at court, he enjoys doing things for veterans involved with the Veterans Court in the Hamilton County Municipal Court, presenting seminars to the public about the DUI process and teaching. You may catch him at a Cincinnati sports game–he’s a loyal fan; Go UC Bearcats, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals! He loves to eat out and enjoy Cincinnati’s restaurants, Silverglades Delicatessen, El Coyote in Anderson Township, Ruby’s and Seasons 52 being his favorites.

When it comes to television Kelly sticks to sports–if you can’t hit it, kick it, or bounce it he probably doesn’t watch it. While he loves to watch the game, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Patton, are two of his all time favorite movies.
